Comfortable experience for a longer stay in Dusseldorf

Thank you for a very nice stay by the service at breakfast. The units are functional, neat with a single bed and the heating. The staff are super friendly, we truly enjoyed them. No complains at all,...  

The location was marvellous and absolutely perfect, close to residential areas, convenient to go everywhere. I usually went to Casita Mexicana Bilk to grab a bite...

The rooms were functional and new-fashioned with lovely views of the cathedral. It was in a particularly good and absolutely perfect location right by Friedenskirche Church. The area was nice, really close to the shopping district, the restaurant, and a shopping mall.

The shower was excellent and the location was great. You could easily walk to the city or take a tram.

Bed were a bit hard for my taste.

The location was great, wise to take a cab. the interior design was nice. - It was really close to the river and all other attractions. - the room was neat and nicely styled. - Lovely views of the cathedral.

Excellent hotel, room was spotless and all the mod cons necessary to make stay enjoyable. Free drinks in fridge was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again

I was pleasantly surprised by the high standard accommodation. The room was spotlessly clean and I was particularly pleased with the kitchenette in our room. There was a nice touch with the complimentary water and beers. The bathrooms were well appointed,the head was nice ans warm and the bed comfortable. I look forward to staying there again, and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other guests. The value was outstanding. I have stayed in other hotels in Germany recently and the standard of the Derag was far higher than any others in the price range. Well done and thank you.

There wasnt anything that I disliked about the hotel really. If I was pushed I could say that I disliked the red roses sticking out of the wall in reception, but that is just a small comment and is incidental really.

Location, private parking and smoke area in bar

Reception information/knowledge about musea was poor. The reception staff was very friendly and helpfull but more knowledge about location musea etc. would be fine.

Modern building with clean and well equipped rooms.

1. Car Parking. The hotel car parking is expensive and street parking is a lottery. 2. On this particular occasion, checking out on Sunday 2nd December morning was extremely slow. There seemed to be only one person looking after a long queue of customers. We were catching a ferry in the afternoon and had to leave the hotel before checking out officially. (I telephoned reception, from my car, to complete the formalities & the staff were very apologetic about the delay).

Enjoyed the king room we stayed in! It had a cozy lounge area, Wi-Fi available, and a safe box – very handy 👍.
